how do i get you folks to post comments on my blog?

me with new red hair
so now that i can be so bold as to have red hair. please help me figure out how to get folks (who I know are reading my blog) thanking you very kindly. I need comments. I feel like I am blogging to no one. There must be a step or twenty eight steps I am missing. Can you help me? I adore this blogging world and really I am trying hard to be myself - yet, interesting, creative, fun and ever so blog happy.

any and all tips are welcome. surely, i must have missed the how to get folks to comment section in the tutorials.

    Hi Kelly, You are so right! How do those other design blogs get people to comment so much? I'm guilty myself of reading blogs but rarely commenting. I'm taking a blogging class right now and they say it can take 6-12 months to build a following...just keep doing what you're doing, being yourself, don't look at the stats and people will eventually participate...that's what Holly Becker of Decor8 says!

    I love what you are about kelli. If you build it, they will come! I once saw a blog where the artist would take pictures of all of the fun stuff she collected while antiquing, vintage scrounging and tidbits of this and that from craft stores and then show how she incorporated it all into her artwork. Kind of fun for people to see how something completely whacky can be wonderful art. And, I would love to see tutorials or see a work in progress.
