Each year we pull off a big sale in May and sometimes in the fall. This year is all about the editing of our home and giving new energy to spaces. I am on a mission to edit, re style and chase a dream.

I have written a lot about dreams and making them come true. I feel it so much more each new day that it is simply a must for me.

The yard sale was the big kick off for a new start to move forward towards chasing this dream. I am blessed with the ability to make things look pretty and it helps everyday seem more special and rare.

Try to make today stylish and special just for you. It really makes all of the difference in the world.

my dream is alive.

magic pure and simple magic.

the sand, the waves, the music in the sounds. adore.

i could not have said this better myself.

My dream (one of them) is to live by the ocean. To wake up most days and walk the beach then go to my studio and create. Listen to the magic the ocean tells us and all of the wonders I can learn from simply by being at peace. I am drawn to water and light ~ needing it more and more in my life.

Some days it seems as though there are so many steps to get to this dream. I am up for the challenge and ready to make it. I know that nothing comes easy. There are days I wish things would be a bit less challenging. So today I will rest knowing the ocean awaits me.

This is going to happen and I will know how very blessed I was to make this dream come true.

Uppercase Magazine and Me = Love story for me

Grateful. Giddy. To the moon thrilled that this month of April will bring my first published artwork and bio in none other than Uppercase Magazine. I know, right?

I have long wanted to be published in a kicking magazine. So I went for my personal favorite Uppercase. I entered my artwork, I entered my bio. A few months go by and I find out that I am lucky enough to have my bio featured in issue #13. A few days go by and I received another email congratulating me that out of over 150 entries in art, mine was one that was picked. The contest for art was to create a piece around rain, clouds and dreary weather.

I have no words to say how grateful, thrilled and honored I am to be included in this issue #13.

my nest.

sunshine was beautiful today in the entryway. i just loved it.

This weekend was a rather reflective one for me. Lot of decisions made, lots of designs created, listened to fun live music, had a lovely dinner out with hubby, saw pretty dresses on the Oscars. I have always known how important my environment is to me. I am always moving things around, painting, covering, changing our home to feel more like me (any given moment) things can get moving.

I have been adding lots of ocean items around me as I long to live by the water. I grew up in a tiny little sweet river town. Grew up on the Mississippi river and adore water.

So my dream is to live by the ocean or the sea. Big plans to move and re create a new nest.

So this week starts a bunch of moving, changing and creating for our nest. We will be selling this lovely nest I have lived in for seventeen years come Spring. There I put it in writing (always seems more real)

Here is to dreams coming true and working very hard with passion to make them happen.

for me it is all about getting the little bird out more.

Today starts another week. Another day to start a new plan, get going on a dream, start living the best life you can. I have so many dreams that I am working on. The bigger they get the harder I work to create them. Some seem so close others seem like I will be working a bit harder.

Me, well I do not mind hard work. I do have patience, to a fault. I just know that each day I wake up I get another shot at making a difference. Today I will find a new way to do something, switch up some things around me, and make sure that each day I move closer to my big dreams.

I am in the midst of great change. I can feel it. The class I have been taking is a real journey for the soul. So happy to be doing the hard work to make it count. 

Oh, and I really do appreciate the fact that I get to wake up and have another day.

I am on this path to all things discovered coming true

I adore layers. A wall filled with pages I created. Feels like home.

I decided to start making more of my life dreams happen. NOW. I have refreshed my blog page design (I need to start doing more of that) I am a designer after all. I just have a bit of a struggle with the template stuff in blogger.

I have decided that since I  adore layers in my design and life I need to own this and build on it.

I am starting today with a new journey that will hopefully create my artistic life into a new wild ride of success for the creative I love.

I hope you will follow me on my new paths. I have several new projects in the works and plan to share them all.
